I found this barn door in Brentwood years ago—heavy and worn. After cleaning and drying it, I painted Keith Richards, cool as ever. As the boards dried, gaps widened between them. By day, light seeps through, giving it a hazy look. But at night, the gaps disappear—and Keith comes alive.
